Taylor Monroe is a former English teacher who loves to read (primarily short stories and philosophy, especially Ernest Hemingway, H.P. Lovecraft, and Michel de Montaigne). He received his undergraduate degree in international political economy (IPE) from the University of Texas at Dallas, where he also studied Mandarin Chinese and met his beautiful wife.
After college, he started his own business as a private tutor, teaching English as a second language and American etiquette, before going on to obtain his law degree from the University of North Texas College of Law. Since law school, Taylor’s love of reading books has transferred to a love of reading contracts. Taylor has worked almost exclusively in business law and is well versed in the ins and outs of business formation, trademark registration, contracts, and much more.
Having had his own business prior to law school, Taylor understands the many needs each business owner may have, and he is passionate about helping them navigate those needs so they can better focus on progressing themselves and their business to a better future.
Taylor is also a mentor with the Bedford Mentorship Program at UNT Dallas College of Law, mentoring first-year law students in hopes of helping give them some perspective on life and direction in their careers. When not working with clients or mentees, Taylor loves spending time with his wife and son, especially visiting museums and aquariums.
