Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Buhrow owned and operated his own law firm for over 20 years, during which time he represented individuals and small business owners in a broad range of civil litigation concerns. His experience is primarily plaintiff-oriented, supplemented by time spent at a Dallas insurance defense firm and an internship with the 101st District Court in Dallas during law school.

Mr. Buhrow’s practice is diverse but focuses heavily on real estate, construction, and small-business litigation. His construction work includes construction defects, mechanics liens, and subcontractor disputes, while his extensive work in real estate includes commercial and residential landlord-tenant (including representation of landlords/property owners in evictions and security deposit litigation) and real estate fraud/nondisclosure.  Buhrow also practices extensively in consumer and homeowner litigation, including DTPA claims, debt collection defense, and disputes against insurance carriers.  Beyond litigation, Buhrow advises clients on business transactions, including entity formation, business acquisitions, contract drafting, and non-compete agreements.

A 2003 graduate of Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A&M University School of Law) and the University of Northern Iowa (B.A., 1996), Mr. Buhrow is also a certified mediator. He is admitted to practice in all Texas state courts, the United States Supreme Court, and Texas’ Northern, Eastern, and Western federal district courts. He is a Master in the Eldon B. Mahon Inn of Court and an active member of the Tarrant County and Dallas Trial Lawyers Associations.
