Sadé L. Lewis is a Louisiana native who also grew up in the Dallas area. She earned her undergraduate degree in political science with a concentration in political theory from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Sadé graduated from the Oklahoma City School of Law where she earned recognition as a merit scholar, academic fellow in contracts law, president of the Student Bar Corporate Law Association, pro bono award recipient, and member of the William J. Holloway Inn of Court. As a law student, she completed clerkships with the Texas Attorney General Office of Consumer Protection, AT&T Inc., and the Oklahoma Securities Department.
After obtaining her license, Sadé joined the U.S. Small Business Administration Office of Disaster Relief where she focused on loan financing, secured transactions, and real estate. She then earned her LLM in taxation law from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law to further explore entity formation and the tax implications of business transactions. Before joining Gibson Herod, Sadé was counsel at Axiom Law where she served finance, regulatory compliance, and commercial business clients.
In her free time, Sadé enjoys spending time in the gym or with friends and family, and she’s an avid music enthusiast.
