Kila Lynn Bobier received her J.D. from Southern University Law Center and graduated summa cum laude, as Valedictorian, from Grambling State University with a Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies.
Kila is a civil litigation attorney who regularly represents individuals in complex legal matters, including catastrophic injury and wrongful death where she serves as lead trial counsel, engaging with expert witnesses, handling depositions, case analysis, and leading litigation focus groups. Kila is a former State District Court Judicial Law Clerk.
As an advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion and equal access to justice, Kila serves on various committees and boards. Kila is the 2020 Diversity Committee Chair of the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association. She is also an Executive Board Member for the National Bar Association Women Lawyers Division; a member of the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, being selected for the 2019-2020 Leadership Class; Executive Board Member of J.L. Turner Legal Association and a former member of the Louisiana State Bar Association’s House of Delegates Committee and Legislative Committee. Kila also gives back to her community through her volunteerism through active membership in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. as well as the Junior League of Dallas. Since the 2017-2018 school year, Kila has been the attorney advisor for Wilmer Hutchins Mock Trial Team.
