Ali Sohani is a Texas-licensed attorney. After working at a top national firm practicing commercial litigation, Mr. Sohani decided to concentrate more specifically on Transactional work in the areas of business and real estate, along with dabbling in some estate planning matters, and now joins The Gibson Law Group.

Mr. Sohani focuses on representing clients as their business lawyer, working on various transactional matters such as purchase and sale, lease, business formation and dissolution, business buyout, buy-sell, shareholder, member, partnership, and joint venture agreements. Mr. Sohani also performs contract reviews and negotiations on business and real estate matters.

Mr. Sohani received his bachelor’s degree from Baylor University with a double major in accounting and real estate. He worked with a big four accounting firm before attending Baylor Law School. While at Baylor Law School, Ali served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Judge Alan D. Albright of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas. Mr. Sohani also served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Judge Vikram Deivanayagam of McLennan County. While building rapport with many judges, Mr. Sohani achieved many recognitions, receiving a Perfect Scoring Attorney award and an Honorable mention for Best Closing Statement in the Puerto Rico Trial Advocacy (an invite–only) competition. Mr. Sohani was also selected to compete in the American Association for Justice Trail Advocacy Competition.

Outside of practicing law, Ali enjoys volunteering within the community and playing all sports. While he has competed at a high level playing basketball and volleyball, Ali was on the Dream Team at Baylor University under the great Coach Kim Mulkey. In 2023, Ali competed on a team that advanced to the quarter-finals of a national competition playing volleyball. Ali enjoys spending time with friends and family, trying all different types of cuisines, and occasionally, being an emcee to local festivals and events.
